York is a lovely city to visit and has wonderful culture and a laid back cafe bar feel which really gives you the feeling you are in Europe.The hotels are mainly central and do need to be booked early to avoid dissappointment. The activities are the best, you really get a chance to experience the Yorkshire countryside before partaking in a little nightlife. York is highly recommended.
